The Scout Movement has a rich and exciting history which has led (1) ... it becoming the leading global youth movement of today. There are more than 40 million Scouts in over 200 countries and territories today. Scouting as (2) ... movement began with 20 boys and an experimental camp in 1907. It was held on Brownsea Island, near Poole in Dorset, England.
